Aspen’s Family Partnership Council’s mission is to bring Aspen families together to create a sense of community. The Council is made up of the following six teams:
- Choice Time – outdoor recess alternative during winter months for 1st-5th graders supervised by parents.
- Parent Education – organizes parent meetings and yearly Family University to teach parents Choice Theory.
- Principal’s Helpers – prepares birthday cards and invitations to monthly birthday breakfast.
- Social – plans 4-6 family social events per year.
- Special Projects – assists with assemblies, special events and special projects as needed.
- Welcome Wagon – mentors new Aspen families by phone/email contacts 4-6 times per year.
