Third Annual Family University

Aspen’s Third Annual Family University—For New and Returning Parents, Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - Noon

Do you want to learn new ways to deal with these old situations and bring more peace and less stress into your home? Want to get along better with your kids, spouse/partner, parents and others? Are you curious about Aspen’s educational philosophy, Choice Theory—how it’s taught to our kids and how you can use it at home? Then you will not want to miss this event. To download a registration form, please click HERE for an application form. Early registration (for discounted $5 family fee) ends Jan 8.

Parent Programs: If this is your first year at Aspen or you are new to Choice Theory, Mr. Springborn, Mrs. Szoke, Mrs. Wysong, Mrs. Manchester, Mrs. Mansour and Nicole Carson will provide answers to these questions and more through discussion, lecture and interactive educational exercises. Parents who have attended previous programs (or with prior knowledge of Choice Theory) can choose to attend two of the following three workshops taught by Glasser Institute Faculty and Aspen Faculty: Secrets of Successful Relationships, Raising Children in a Choice Theory Home or Aspen In Action.

Children’s Program: Currently enrolled Aspen children (and their younger siblings age 4 and older), will love our creative, innovative, fun and educational Children’s Program taught by Aspen teachers (Mrs. Kirby, Mrs. Brocks, Mrs. Anderson, Ms. Landaker, Ms. Bechler, Mrs. Timony, Mrs. Ivy and Mrs. Earhart) while parents attend the parent program.

Prospective Aspen Parents: We invite any prospective Aspen parents only (no children please) to attend the Parent Portion free of charge, unless you would like to join us for lunch ($5 fee per family.)
