2016 PARCC Assessment Windows
Please be aware Aspen School will begin the PARCC state testing the week of April 4th. Students in grades 3-5 will be taking a total of seven tests – three assessments in Language Arts and four in Mathematics. Students will take one assessment per day.
Third Grade Tests: Monday, April 4th – Thursday, April 7th (Math) and Friday, April 8th through Tuesday, April 12th (ELA) – ALL TESTING SESSIONS FROM 9:20-11:20
Fourth Grade Tests: Wednesday, April 13th-Tuesday, April 19th (Math) and Wednesday, April 20th – Friday, April 22nd – ALL TESTING SESSIONS FROM 12:00-2:00
Fifth Grade Tests: Monday, April 4th – Thursday, April 7th (Math) and Friday, April 8th through Tuesday, April 12th (ELA) ALL TESTING SESSIONS FROM 11:40-1:40
What can parents do to prepare?
- Make sure your child eats an appropriate breakfast
- Allow for time to get enough rest.
- Email ahead to let your classroom teacher know of absences or doctor appointments. If possible, avoid appointments during your testing week.
