American Parent Education Day
American Education Week was first celebrated in 1921 as an opportunity to celebrate public education, to inform the community of the accomplishments and needs of public schools, to secure cooperation and support from the public, and to honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. Thank you to all our parents who came to observe their child’s classroom on American Parent Education Day. We had a wonderful turnout. Aspen values the role parents play in supporting and encouraging their students and teachers. Keeping the lines of communication open with parents and families is a key factor in student success. Parent Day is a great day for parents to get a firsthand look at what the school day is like for their children..
