Red Ribbon Week is Here
Our school will be participating in the following activities to celebrate Red Ribbon Week:
Friday, October 25 – Red Ribbon Week Kick-off. All students will take the Red Ribbon pledge in their classrooms during morning announcements and are encouraged to wear RED.
Monday, October 28 -Put a Lid on Drugs. Students may wear their favorite hat today.
Tuesday, October 29 – SOARing Eagles say NO to drugs. Students are encouraged to show their school spirit by wearing Hawthorn spirit wear or blue and yellow.
Wednesday, October 30 – United We Stand Against Drugs. Students should wear red, white and blue today.
Thursday, October 31 – Say “BOO” to Drugs. Enjoy the classroom parties.
Friday, November 1 – Sock it to Drugs. Students may wear their craziest or mismatched socks. Also, please consider supporting our Student Council by bringing in a new pair of socks (any size) to be donated to the homeless in our community.
