If you have a 4th grader who is interested in joining either band or orchestra, they will be given a chance to try out different instruments during the school day next week. They can then decide if they want to make the commitment to join either band or orchestra. Also, a parent information night is scheduled for all 4th grade parents whose students are interested in joining band and orchestra on Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at Townline school. (This meeting was originally scheduled for 9/12). This meeting will tell you what the expectations are should your child join band or orchestra.
Congratulations to our band and orchestra students for putting on great concerts last week. The time you have spent practicing at home and rehearsing at school has paid off! Thank you to Mr. Fritz, our band director and Ms. Lee our orchestra director, for doing an amazing job teaching and leading our band and orchestra students.

Our 4th and 5th grade band and orchestra students had the privilege of performing at the Art Hildebrand Festival last week. They were given great feedback by a panel of judges and did an excellent job!
