This year, a fourth and fifth grade classroom at Aspen Elementary School participated in The Nora Project. The Nora Project’s Mission is to teach empathy by sparking friendships between students and their peers with disabilities. Since its founding in 2016, The Nora Project has grown from six classrooms to eighty-five, with teachers challenging students to practice empathy, exercise moral courage, and recognize the fundamental truth that as human beings, we are all more alike than different. If you’d like more information on The Nora Project, their website is www.thenoraproject.ngo or you can contact Susan Albert at Aspen at firstname.lastname@example.org Enjoy the documentaries our Aspen student’s created about their experience participating in The Nora Project, this year!
